* The BWY is recognised by the Sports Council as the governing body for yoga in the UK.
* My study of Art, Massage, Personal Development and Yoga, all influence an intuitive approach. My yoga students tell me I am thorough and precise, as well as allowing for softness and adapability in all aspects of Yoga.
For me Yoga is a wonderful tool to help us faciliate our own health and wellbeing. It is both profound and engaging. Through the movement of the body and the breath, we learn to listen to and find our inner wisdom.
Guided from within we learn to walk gently, and find our own path.
I completed a Degree in Painting and Ceramics in 1998, I began teaching Yoga after completing the Sivananda Yoga Teacher's Training In Kerala, South India in 2001.
In 2005 I decided to deepen my knowledge through the 3 year BWY Yoga teachers Training.
In 2008 I graduated and also completed the BWY Pregnancy Module: Post -Graduate Training to teach Specialist Pregnancy Yoga Classes.
In 2002 I also recieved the MTI and ITEC qualifiactions in Anatomy, Physiology and Massage, although I do not now practise as a Therapist.
I am during 2011, I will be studying for the BWY Meditation Module Level 2 with Maarten Vermaase.
